Avoid the Summer Slide!

Continuing reading on a daily basis is CRITICAL to maintain AND improve reading skills over the summer!  Not reading all summer will put you in risk of THE SUMMER SLIDE: where you slide backwards in your reading capabilities.  Find interesting books! Go to your local library! Find great books at yard sales or flea markets! There are books everywhere!  My five rules of summer for my students: 1. READ!   2. READ!  3. READ!  4. READ!   5. READ!
